Your ECU is fine for a well maintained car. Once little things like relocated det. sensors, or resistored det. sensors are trhown in with poor maintenance and perhaps poor fuel, I think that it is too much.
The car in question has some issues that will directly affect its ability to handle advanced timing under load.
I am a small business, one lawsuit will likely put it near bankrupt, that is why I believe what I believe. If I were under a larger company, I would likely push things harder similarly to what Ash does.
